Sale of three Honda dealerships

Lookers plc, one of the leading UK motor retail and aftersales service groups, has completed a transaction with Vertu Motors plc ("Vertu") for the sale of three Honda dealerships in Derby, Nottingham and Stockton-On-Tees. The rationale for the sale is that Vertu already operate Honda dealerships in contiguous territories to these businesses. The sale proceeds of the transaction were approximately £2.0m, received in cash.
