Board Change

Lookers plc ("Lookers", "the company" or "the group") one of the leading UK motor retail and aftersales service groups, announces today that John Brown has retired from his position as a non executive director of the company.

Phil White, Chairman of Lookers, commented: "I would like to thank John for his excellent and substantial contribution to the company since joining the board in May 2005, serving as both a non executive director and the senior independent director in this period. Between 2005 and 2013 the company has seen turnover increase by over 100% and profit before tax increase by over 160%.

"I have enjoyed working with John as well as valuing his advice and support since I joined the Lookers board in 2006. Together with all my colleagues on the board, I would like to thank him personally for his exceptional contribution to the group during the past ten years and wish him all the very best for the future."
