Insurers bet on powe transmission assets

The country's largest mortgage lender, HDFC, on Friday reported a 42 per cent YoY rise in standalone net profit at %3,180 crore in the March quarter, beating Street estimates. The profit was aided by a higher net interest income (NII).

This compares with a profit of 2,232.5 crore in the year-ago period (Q4FY20). On a quarterly basis, the profit rose 8.6 per cent, from ®2,925.8 crore in Q3FY21.

"We had different categories of investors participating including insurance companies, corporates, QIB, HNIs and retail. Out of a total demand of %2,500 crore, 300 crore was from QIBs and corporates while almost Rs 2,200 crore came from HNIs and retail investors," Harsh Shah, managing director and CEO, IndiGrid, told Business Standard.

Housing Development Finance Corporation's NII was up 14 per cent YoY to %4,065 crore in Q4FY21 while net interest margin was at 3.5 per cent, up 10 basis points (bps) YoY, helped by an 8 bps sequential uptick in non-individual spreads. Even ifthe RBI has allowed the debt recast, it still can relax NPA norms, bankers said.

The issue with debt restructuring, as bankers explain, is that banks still have to make 10 per cent provision. When a loan is restructured, banks need to make a provision of 15-20 per cent the same as if the account becomes substandard. However, in the one-time debt recast scheme that was announced by the RBI last year, banks were asked to provide 10 per cent. Debt recast with 10 per cent provision is not much of a relief, bankers said.

नागपूर, दि. ७, (प्रतिनिधी) : नागपूर शहरातील ऑक्सिजन पुरवठा सुरळीत करण्यासाठी आता हवाई दलाची मदत घेतली जात आहे. ओरिसा राज्यातील अंगूल येथून ९० मेट्रिक टन ऑक्सिजन प्राप्त होणार असून तीन दिवसांत हा साठा नागपुरात पोहोचेल, असे जिल्हा प्रशासनाकडून सांगण्यात आले. नागपूर विभागासाठी २४० मेट्रिक टन आणि जिल्ह्याला १४० मेट्रिक टन ऑक्सिजनची गरज आहे. ही गरज पूर्ण करण्यासाठी आता युद्धपातळीवर प्रयत्न सुरू आहेत. बुधवारी नागपूर एअरपोर्ट येथून चार टँकर रवाना झाले. ऑक्सिजन भरलेले टँकर येत्या तीन दिवसांत नागपूरला पोहोचतील. जिल्हाधिकारी रवींद्र ठाकरे आणि महापालिका आयुक्त राधाकृष्ण बी., परिवहन आयुक्त डॉ. अविनाश ढाकणे यांनी यासाठी पुढाकार घेतला. भारतीय हवाई दलाच्या धावपट्टीवरून बुधवारी विशेष विमान ओरिसासाठी रवाना झाले. यावेळी प्रादेशिक परिवहन अधिकारी जाधव, उपजिल्हाधिकारी जगदीश काटकर, तहसीलदार सूर्यकांत पाटील, औषध प्रशासन विभागाचे सहायक आयुक्त सतीश चव्हाण आदी उपस्थित होते. बुधवारी रात्री ९ वाजता हे विमान ओरिसासाठी रवाना झाले.

हा साठाही उपलब्ध

नागपूर जिल्ह्यासाठी भिलाई येथून ११० मेट्रिक टन ऑक्सिजन मंजूर करण्यात आले आहे. यासाठी १९ टँकर भिलाईसाठी रवाना करण्यात आले. छत्तीसगड व मध्य प्रदेश या राज्यांतही कोरोनाचा प्रादुर्भाव वाढत असल्यामुळे भिलाई येथून नागपूरमध्ये आणण्यात येणाऱ्या ऑक्सिजनमध्ये काहीशी घट झाली. सरासरी ६० ते ७० मेट्रिक टन ऑक्सिजन उपलब्ध होत आहे. रायपूर येथून निको ग्रुपतर्फे दोन टँकरद्वारे सरासरी ४० ते ५० मेट्रिक टन ऑक्सिजन पुरवठा होत आहे. सद्यस्थितीत जिल्ह्यात १४० मेट्रिक टन ऑक्सिजनचा साठा आवश्यक असून यामध्ये आयनॉक्स तर्फे ८५ मेट्रिक टन व भिलाई येथून ६० ते ७० मेट्रिक टन ऑक्सिजनचा साठा उपलब्ध होत आहे.

महाराज बाग प्राणी संग्रहालयात वेगवेगळ्या प्रकारचे प्राणी आहेत. वाघ, अस्वल, बिबट, हरीण असे प्राणी पाहण्यासाठी येथे पर्यटक मोठ्या प्रमाणात येतात. मात्र, कोरोनामुळे हे प्राणी संग्रहालय सध्या बंद आहे. असे असले तरी प्राण्यांनासुद्धा कोरोना होऊ शकतो

हे समोर आल्यानंतर येथील प्रशासन प्राण्यांची विशेष काळजी घेत आहे. त्यासाठी येथे खास नियमावली तयार करण्यात आली असून त्यानुसार प्राण्यांची देखरेख केली जात आहे. प्राण्यांची अशा प्रकारे घेतली

दारूव्या वादातून मित्राला संपविले

नागपूर, दि. ७, (प्रतिनिधी) : दारूच्या वादातून युवकाने धारदार शस्त्राने वार करून मित्राची निर्घण हत्या केली. ही थरारक घटना मंगळवारी रात्री ८ वाजताच्या समारास गलशननगरमध्ये उघडकीस आली. निरंजन ऊर्फ गोलू अब्रू वर्मा (वय ३०) असे मृतकाचे तर गालू ऊर्फ प्रमाद समालिया राय शाहू (वय २९, दोन्ही रा. गुलशननगर) असे मारेकऱ्याचे नाव आहे. वर्मा हा खासगी काम करतो, तर शाह हा मालवाह वाहन चालवितो. मिळालेल्या माहितीनुसार, मंगळवारी दोघांनी दारूच्या चार बाटल्या आणल्या. ते निरंजनच्या घरी दारू प्यायले. याचदरम्यान निरंजनला कामानिमित्त बाहेर जायचे होते. त्याने शाहला त्याच्या घरी परत जायला सांगितले. 'मी येथेच काही वेळ आराम करतो', असे शाह त्याला म्हणाला. निरंजनने नकार दिला. दोघांत वाद झाला. संतापलेल्या शाहने धारदार शस्त्राने निरंजनच्या मानेवर, डोक्यावर वार केले. निरंजन बेशुद्ध झाला. शाह हा त्याच्या घरी जाऊन झोपला. रात्री ८ वाजताच्या सुमारास त्याला जाग आली. मित्राला मारहाण केल्याचे त्याने निरंजनचा भाऊ शेखरला सांगितले. निरंजन घरी रक्ताच्या थारोळ्यात पडलेला दिसला. शेखरने त्याला हॉस्पिटलमध्ये नेले असता डॉक्टरांनी तपासून मत घोषित केले. शेखरच्या तक्रारीवरून कळमना पोलिसांनी खुनाचा गुन्हा दाखल करून शाहला अटक केली.

ર્চાळોबોजार प्रकरणात दोन दिवसापूर्वा पाचपावला पोलिसांनी सापळा रचून औषध विक्रेता उबेद राजा इकरामुल हक (वय ३१ रा. विनोबा भावेनगर) व त्याचा मित्र अहमद हसेन जल्फीकार हसेन ( वय ३१ रा. अवस्थीनगर) या दोघांना अटक केली. पोलिसांनी दोघांकडून दोन इंजेक्शन जप्त केले. दोघांची पोलिस कोठडी घेतली. मंगळवारी रात्री पोलिस दोघांची चौकशी करीत होते. याचदरम्यान पोलिसांच्या हातावर तुरी देऊन उबेद हा पसार झाला. पोलिस स्टेशनमधुन उबेद पसार झाल्याचे कळताच वरिष्ठ पोलिस अधिकाऱ्यांमध्ये खळबळ उडाली. पोलिसांनी त्याचा शोध सुरू केला. उबेद हा पोलिस कोठडीत असताना पसार झाल्याची माहिती विश्वसनीय सत्रांना दिली. याबाबत वरिष्ठ पोलिस अधिकाऱ्याशी संपर्क साधला असता सरूवातीला त्याने मौन बाळगले. तपासासाठी त्याला बाहेर काढण्यात आल्याचे सांगितले. पोलिस अधिकाऱ्याने उबेद हा पसार झाला का? याबाबत स्पष्टपणे सांगण्यास नकार दिल्याने सूत्रांचा दावा खरा तर नाही ना? असा संशय निर्माण झाला आहे. उशिरारात्रीपर्यंत अधिकाऱ्यांने याबाबत अधिक बोलण्याचे टाळले.

नागपूर, दि. ७, (प्रतिनिधी) : डोंगरगावमधील कोव्हिड हॉस्पिटलमधील रूग्णाला वॉर्डबॉयने रेमडेसिव्हिर ऐवजी चक्क ॲसिडिटीचे इंजेक्शन दिल्याची खळबळजनक घटना सीताबर्डी पोलिसांच्या तपासादरम्यान समोर आली. रेमडेसिव्हिरच्या काळाबाजार प्रकरणात सीताबर्डी पोलिसांनी महिला डॉक्टरासह दोघांना अटक केली. तपासानंतर ही धक्कादायक बाब उघडकीस आली. रेमडेसिव्हिरच्या काळाबाजार प्रकरणाच्या तपासादरम्यान सीताबर्डी पोलिसांनी महिला डॉक्टरसह दोघांना अटक केली. देवयानी पडोळे व वॉर्ड बॉय दिनेश गायकवाड ,अशी अटकेतील आरोपींची नावे आहेत. देवयानी ही सेवाग्राममधील

हॉस्पिटलमध्ये डॉक्टर तर, दिनेश हा डोंगरगावमधील कोव्हिड हॉस्पिटलमध्ये वॉर्ड बॉय आहे. दिनेश याला परिचारिकेने रूग्णाला देण्यासाठी दोन रेमडेसिव्हिर दिले. मात्र दिनेश याने रेमडेसिव्हिर ऐवजी ॲसिडिटीचे इंजेक्शन कोरोनाबाधिताला दिले. त्यानंतर रूग्णाला रेमिडिसिव्हिर दिल्याची नोंदणी नोंदवहीत केल्याचेही तपासादरम्यान स्पष्ट झाले. काही दिवसांपूर्वी पोलिस उपायुक्त डॉ. अक्षय शिंदे यांच्या विशेष पथकाने जनता चौकात सापळा रचून धंतोलीतील हॉस्पिटलचा वॉर्डबॉय शुभम संजय पानतावणे (वय २४), प्रणय दिनकरराव येरपुडे (वय २१) व मनमोहन नरेश मदन (वय २१) या तिघांना अटक केली. त्यांच्याकडून दोन इंजेक्शन

जप्त केले. पोलिसांनी शुभम याची कसून चौकशी केली. चौकशीदरम्यान देवायानी व दिनेश या दोघांची नावे समोर आली. त्यानंतर पोलिसांनी दोघांना अटक केली. त्यानंतर त्यांची दोन दिवस पोलिस कोठडी घेतली. कोठडीदरम्यान दिनेश

याने कोरोनाबाधिताला रेमडेसिव्हिरऐवजी ॲसिडिटीचे इंजेक्शन देण्याचे समोर आले. तसेच देवयानी ही शुभम याच्या संपर्कात होती. याप्रकरणात तिचीही संशयास्पद भूमिका आढळून आल्याने तिलाही अटक करण्यात आली. दोघांची दोन दिवस पोलिस कोठडी घेण्यात आली. मंगळवारी दोघांची पोलिस कोठडी संपली. पोलिसांनी त्यांना न्यायालयात हजर केले. न्यायालयाने दोघांची कारागृहात रवानगी केली.
