Livium Ltd (ASX: LIT) (“ Livium ” or the “ Company ”) is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary Envirostream Australia Pty Ltd (“ Envirostream ”), a leader within the Australian battery recycling industry has signed a battery storage and recycling agreement (“ Agreement ”) with Schenker Australia Pty Ltd, (“ DB Schenker ”), one of the world’s leading logistics service providers with operations in over 130 countries.
The Agreement allows DB Schenker to provide new Li-ion batteries to Envirostream who will safely store them until a return is requested. In addition, the Agreement allows DB Schenker to provide used Li-ion batteries to Envirostream who will store and process the batteries (together the “ Services ”).
The Agreement provides exclusivity on the processing of used batteries and, significantly, diversifies Envirostream’s services and revenues through providing safe storage of Li-ion batteries. These new services along with the provision of tolling services for international recycling companies, have been identified as the first opportunities to provide adjacent and complimentary services.
The Agreement commenced on 4 April 2025, with a 1-year term and has no minimum volumes during the term and, as a result, Livium is not able to quantify the economic impact of the Agreement at this stage. No additional infrastructure is required to provide these services however expansion will enable increased volumes and range of service to be offered.
