Southern Hemisphere looks forward to receiving the results of the upcoming drilling at Mantos Grandes and to providing further updates in due course on upcoming exploration programs on its other copper-gold projects in central Chile, including the recently established Los Rulos Joint Venture with Lundin Mining Corporation (TSX: LUN) (“Lundin Mining”).
Los Rulos Joint Venture
The Company announced on December 20, 2013 that it had secured a third highly prospective copper-gold concession area in central Chile as part of this joint venture. The new prospect, Guayacán, together with the previously acquired Armandiño and Polvareda 2 Prospects, will be the focus of an extensive exploration campaign by the joint venture, commencing in Q1 2014.
These projects are located in the same region as the Llahuin Copper-Gold Project where Southern Hemisphere and Lundin Mining have already established a sizeable inventory of JORC compliant copper-gold Mineral Resources.
