ALLOTMENT OF SHORTFALL OF PRIORITY ISSUE

The Directors of Midwinter Resources NL are pleased to announce that the Company has placed the Shortfall Options from its recent Priority Issue offered pursuant to the Prospectus lodged on 22 September 2009. 4,697,593 Listed Options have been issued today.

The Directors have placed the entire shortfall in accordance with Section 3.7 of the Prospectus.
