LISI AUTOMOTIVE Former in Delle will benefit from the French automotive modernization fund

Grandvillars, France - September 15, 2020

Announced on May 26, 2020 by the French President, the fund to support the automotive sector aims to accompany investments in modernizing the sector. After responding to the Call for projects launched last June and July, LISI AUTOMOTIVE Former in Delle, France, is one of the first 13 companies to benefit from this support fund. The plant intends to diversify its product offer and modernize its production equipment.

LISI AUTOMOTIVE, the automotive division of the French Group LISI, is a major player in assembly solutions and safety mechanical components. It positions itself as a sustainable supplier and development partner to car manufacturers and equipment suppliers for tomorrow's vehicles, which will be more connected, lighter and increasingly electrified.

The LISI AUTOMOTIVE Former plant in Delle is a reference supplier site for gasoline and diesel engine screws for European OEM's.

Faced with the decline of internal combustion engines and in the context of the increasing electrification of vehicles, a project to diversify the site's product offer is targeting a new high-potential family: components used for the power transmission from an electric motor to a comfort element in the passenger compartment of the vehicle of the future.

LISI AUTOMOTIVE's teams are currently quoting many requests received by Tier1 customers.

The LISI AUTOMOTIVE Former plant in Delle should thus benefit from the 7.5 M€ fund shared between the 13 selected companies from the automotive sector.

This industrialization project is part of a deep transformation of the Delle plant, which has been underway since 2016, including new workspaces dedicated to collaborative innovation.

LISI shares are listed on Euronext, Compartment A and belong to the CAC® AERO & DEF., CAC® All Shares, and CAC® Industrials indices under the ISIN code: FR 0000050353. The LISI Group is a world leader in threaded and clipped fasteners and mechanical safety components for the Aerospace, Automotive and Medical sectors.
