LIONTRUST ASSET MANAGEMENT PLC

Notification of Transactions of Directors/Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility and Connected Persons

The Trustee of the Liontrust Asset Management Employee Trust ("EBT") has notified Liontrust Asset Management Plc (the "Company") that it:

1.    transferred a total of 12,669 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") on 3 July 2015 to an employee following the exercise of options under the Liontrust Option Plan;  and

2.    bought in the market a total of 12,669 Ordinary Shares on 6 July 2015 at a price of 317.5 pence per Ordinary Share.

Following these transactions, the EBT holds a total of 1,995,205 Ordinary Shares representing 4.39 per cent. of the Company's voting share capital. The following directors have an interest as potential beneficiaries of the EBT: Vinay Abrol, Adrian Collins and John Ions. The EBT is a trust, which purchases or subscribes for Shares, so as to allow the Trustee to satisfy the exercise of options granted under various options schemes.
