LIONTRUST ASSET MANAGEMENT PLC

Notification of transactions of directors/persons discharging managerial responsibilities

The information contained in this notification is disclosed in accordance with DTR 3.1.4R(1)(a) of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules of the Financial Conduct Authority.

Liontrust Asset Management Plc ("the Company") was informed on 2 July 2014 of the following transactions in the Company's ordinary shares of 1p ("Shares") by Directors of the Company.

On 1 July 2014 Adrian Collins, John Ions and Vinay Abrol exercised 1,000,000, 1,800,000 and 200,000 share options respectively, in each case, issued to them under the Liontrust Senior Incentive Plan (the "LSIP"). Each Director, to pay the tax and national insurance due on the option exercise, sold 50% of the new Shares issued to them pursuant to the option exercise.

The number of Shares issued pursuant to the exercise of LSIP share options to Adrian Collins, John Ions and Vinay Abrol and the number of Shares sold by Adrian Collins, John Ions and Vinay Abrol and the sale price were as follows:
