Bynoe Lithium-Tantalum Project (Northern Territory) – Drilling Program Update
Liontown Resources Limited (ASX: LTR) is pleased to advise that it has it been notified by the Northern Territory Department of Mines and Energy (NTDME) that approval of the Company’s Mine Management Plan (MMP) for the initial RC drilling program at the Bynoe Lithium-Tantalum Project (Figure 1 ) has been given, subject to provision of a security bond.
This bond has now been lodged with the NTDME.
The drilling activities covered by the MMP initially comprise up to 25 reverse circulation drill holes for a total of ~3,000m. A RC drill rig has been contracted to commence work on June 6[th] 2016 following rehabilitation of existing access tracks and preparation of drill pads.
The drilling will test 10 pegmatites ( Figure 1 ) defined by a review of historic data as high priority targets based on size potential and/or presence of lithium minerals or anomalism.
