Tony Ottaviano Commences as ManaResource increases to 156Mt @ 1.4% Liging Director 2O

Further to its announcement of 11 February, Liontown Resources Limited (ASX: LTR, “Liontown” or “Company”) is pleased to advise that Tony Ottaviano has now commenced as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the Company.

Mr Ottaviano is a global mining executive, with over 30 years leading operations across Australia, the Americas, Asia, Europe and Africa. Prior to joining Liontown, he held senior executive roles with two of the world’s largest mining companies, BHP and Rio Tinto, establishing a successful track record in Operations, M&A, project delivery and business transformation programs, most recently as Global Performance and Improvement Officer with BHP Limited.

The material terms of Mr Ottaviano’s employment were previously released to the market in the Company’s announcement of 11 February 2021.

As previously advised, Liontown’s long-serving Managing Director David Richards, while remaining a Director of Liontown, will now transition to the role of Technical Director, with responsibility for driving the Company’s early-stage exploration projects outside of Kathleen Valley, including its exciting Moora gold-PGE-nickelcopper project in WA.

Liontown Chairman, Mr Tim Goyder, said:

“This marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Liontown. We are delighted that Tony is now fully onboard as Managing Director, and we are very much looking forward to the strong leadership and strategic vision that he brings to the Company as we take our Tier-1 lithium asset at Kathleen Valley through to financing and development at a very exciting time of growth and opportunity in the battery metals sector.

Also, thanks again to David, who has made a huge contribution to Liontown’s growth and discovery success over the past 10 years, and I can think of no one better qualified to advance our exciting Moora gold-PGE-nickelcopper project to the next stage and identify other new growth opportunities”

Appointment of Commercial Manager and Company Secretary

Liontown is also pleased to announce the appointment of experienced finance executive Clint McGhie to the role of Commercial Manager and Company Secretary. Mr McGhie will succeed Craig Hasson who has resigned as Company Secretary, allowing him to focus on his role as Chief Financial Officer.

Mr McGhie was until recently Group Manager Finance and Company Secretary with Salt Lake Potash Limited, and has previously held roles as Company Secretary and CFO with a number of listed resource companies.

This announcement has been authorised for release by the Board.
