Liontown Resources appoints new Exploration Manager
Liontown Resources Limited (ASX: LTR) is pleased to announce that it has appointed Mr Jamie Day as the Company’s new Exploration Manager.
Jamie is a well credentialed geologist with over 20 years’ experience in mineral exploration in a broad range of geological settings.
For past 11 years he has been working as senior geologist with Independence Group NL (IGO) during which time he led the team that discovered the Rosie and C2 nickel sulphide deposits.
Prior to IGO, Jamie was employed by Mincor Operations, Newmont Australia and Delta Gold in a variety of exploration roles.
He holds a BSc (Hon) in Applied Geology from the University of Sunderland and a MSc in Mineral Exploration from Leicester University.
Liontown’s Managing Director, Mr David Richards, said he was delighted to have secured someone of Mr Day’s calibre and experience to help drive the Company forward.
“Liontown is focused on battery metals, including lithium, and has a quality portfolio of exploration projects in Australia. Jamie will be an important member of our team as we work to realise the maximum value from the projects.”
