Resignation of Managing Director

Lightning Minerals Ltd (ASX:L1M) (“Company”) announces that it has received from Alex Biggs 3 months notice of termination of his employment agreement as Managing Director and CEO of the Company.

The Board is actively conducting a search for a new CEO. Mr Biggs will remain in his current role pending the appointment of a new CEO, unless otherwise agreed between Mr Biggs and the Company.

Company Chairman, David Vilensky, said: “Even though he will not be leaving immediately and will assist in a smooth transition to the new CEO, the Board thanks Mr Biggs for his contribution and service to the Company and wishes him well for the future. The Company will continue to focus on its wholly owned Mt Turner Gold Project in Queensland where drilling results to date have confirmed a large-scale mineralized system with planning well advanced for its fully funded Phase 2 drilling program.”
