EXPLORATION MANAGER APPOINTED
Lightning Minerals (“L1M” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jarrad Woodland as the Company’s Exploration Manager. Jarrad is a Geologist and brings significant experience in exploration, operations and project management across a multitude of commodities including lithium, base metals, copper and a host of critical minerals.

Jarrad is a Geologist with a Bachelor of Science (Applied Geology) from Curtin University of Technology. His expertise is across a range of critical minerals including lithium, copper, gold and base metals and possesses regional expertise relevant to the Company’s Dundas projects. Jarrad joins Will Clarke who is already employed by the Company as Project Geologist. Will brings strong experience in both lithium and base metals both in Australia and Canada and will work closely with Jarrad in developing and actioning the Company’s exploration strategy.

DUNDAS PROJECT AREA
The Dundas Project area is located near Norseman in Western Australia and comprises eight tenements totaling 454km[2] . Norseman has a strong history of mining dating back to 1892 and is located 190km south of Kalgoorlie. Historically, Norseman and the Dundas area has experienced mining in gold and nickel although over recent years the region has become an emerging lithium and critical minerals province with multiple discoveries and significant exploration activity.

CURRENT WORK PROGRAMS
A soil sampling program is currently being completed across the Company’s Dundas tenements. ASX announcement dated 25 November 2022 outlines the program strategy and priority sampling areas. An interpretation of existing geophysics data is also underway which will assist in identifying priority drill targets. Following a recent site visit multiple pegmatite occurrences have also been identified, see ASX announcement dated 13 December 2022.
OTHER PROJECTS
The Company also has 100% interest in the Mt Jewell, Mt Bartle and Mailman Hill projects to the north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia which are focused on base metals, critical minerals and gold.
