COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENT
The following is a Company Announcement issued by LifeStar Holding plc ("the Company") pursuant to the Listing Rules issued by the Listing Authority.

Chief Executive Officer – LifeStar Insurance Limited
In pursuance of the implementation of the restructuring plan of the Group announced within the public announcement issued by the Company on the 07th September 2020, Cristina Casingena, holder of Identity Card number 206419L, of Falcon House, Block B, Apartment 9, High Street, Sliema SLM 1544, Malta, who is currently the Managing Director of LifeStar Insurance Limited ('LSI'), will have her position redesignated to Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") of LSI. Ms Casingena will continue to be a director of LSI. In the capacity of CEO she will continue to lead the Group's life insurance business, having the responsibility to develop the strategy to meet the short and long term objectives of the organisation and manage the day to day operations. The redesignation shall be with effect from regulatory clearance. Ms Casingena has not held any other directorships in any other issuer at any time during the previous five years. There are no matters regarding Ms Casingena's redesignation as Chief Executive Officer that require disclosure in terms of Listing Rules 5.20.5 to 5.20.9.
Chief Operations Officer
Jonathan Camilleri, holder of Identity Card number 219884M, of 19, Triq Birbixkilla, Tarxien currently the Head of Operations will have his position redesignated to that of Chief Operations Officer ("COO") of the Company, with immediate effect. Mr Camilleri will also assume the position of COO of the regulated subsidiaries upon regulatory clearance. Mr Camilleri will be responsible for managing, controlling and co-ordinating the resources and daily operations of the Group, whilst maintaining a comprehensive overview of all processes. He shall be responsible to report any key business risks across all levels to the Company's Board of Directors. Mr Camilleri is currently also a director of the Group's health insurance agency, LifeStar Health Limited. Mr Camilleri has not held any other directorships in any other issuer at any time during the previous five years. There are no matters regarding Mr Camilleri's appointment as Chief Operations Officer that require disclosure in terms of Listing Rules 5.20.5 to 5.20.9.
Chief Information Officer
It is also being announced that Adrian Mizzi, holder of Identity Card number 251174M, of 26, Tetra, Triq l-Iżmarratur, Mosta MST 1841, Malta joined the Company on the 28th September 2020 as Chief Information Officer ("CIO") with effect of the aforementioned date. Upon regulatory approval, he shall also be appointed as CIO of the Company's regulated subsidiaries.
In this position, he will be responsible for the organisation of Information Technology and systems. Ing Mizzi is an Engineer by profession and has worked with various companies throughout his career carrying out similar positions.

LifeStar Insurance Ltd (C29086) is authorised under the Insurance Business Act, Cap 403 and is regulated by the MFSA. LifeStar Health Ltd (C6393) acts as an insurance agent for Bupa Global DAC under the Insurance Distribution Act, Cap 487 and is regulated by the MFSA. GlobalCapital Financial Management (C30053) is licensed to provide investment services in Malta by the MFSA.
Ing. Mizzi has experience in the financial services and was previously head of IT with the Group between 2006 and 2008. Ing Mizzi has not held office as director in any other listed company at any time in the previous five years. There are no matters concerning Ing Mizzi's appointment that require disclosure under Listing Rules 5.20.5 and 5.20.9.
Chief Technical Officer
George Emanuel Onete, holder of Passport number 52266326, of 3 Str. Stejarului, No. 3, Entrance D, Apartment no. 1, Pitesti, Romania has stepped down from the role of Chief Technical Officer ("CTO") of the Company and of its operating subsidiaries with effect from the 23rd October 2020. The role and functions of the CTO are being assigned to the CIO pursuant to the Group's restructuring plans. There are no matters requiring disclosure in terms of the listing rules. The Board would like to thank Mr. Onete for his service to the Company and wishes him well for his future endeavours.
