PRE-EARNINGS GUIDANCE FOR 3Q 2024

(UNAUDITED OPERATING STATISTICS)

LG Electronics Inc. (the ''Company'') is pleased to announce certain unaudited operating statistics

of the Company and its subsidiaries (the ''Group'') for the 3rd quarter of 2024 as follows.

In the 3rd quarter of 2024, the Group's consolidated sales amounted to KRW 22,176.9 billion (as

compared to KRW 21,694.4 billion in 2024.2Q and KRW 20,037.9 billion in 2023.3Q), representing

a quarter-on-quarter increase of 2.2% (QoQ 2.2%) and a year-on-year increase of 10.7% (YoY

10.7%).

The Group's consolidated operating income amounted to KRW 751.1 billion (as compared to KRW

1,197.3 billion in 2024.2Q and KRW 950.1 billion in 2023.3Q), representing a quarter-on-quarter

decrease of 37.3% (QoQ -37.3%) and a year-on-year decrease of 20.9% (YoY -20.9%).

With the official closure of Battery pack business in the 3rd quarter of 2024, we presented related gains and losses in discontinued operations. Sales and Operating Income above were restated in accordance with K-IFRS.

the Group, which may differ from figures to be disclosed in the audited or unaudited consolidated

financial statements to be published by the Company. Further details of the Group's performance
