LEND LEASE GROUP

TRADING HALT

The securities of Lend Lease Group (the “Group”) will be placed in pre-open at the request of the Group, pending the release of an announcement by the Group. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in pre-open until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 1 March 2010 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Lend Lease Group – Trading halt application

Pursuant to Listing Rule 17.1, Lend Lease Group (ASX: LLC) ( Lend Lease ) requests a trading halt in its ordinary stapled securities from the commencement of trading today, Thursday 25 February 2010. In accordance with Listing Rule 17.1, we advise:

• The trading halt is necessary for Lend Lease to make an announcement to the market in relation to a proposed capital raising involving institutional and retail investors ( Capital Raising ) to be announced today;

• Lend Lease wishes the trading halt to remain in place until the earlier of such time as it makes an announcement to the market in relation to the outcome of the institutional component of the Capital Raising, and the commencement of trading on Monday 1 March 2010; and

• Lend Lease is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
