LEND LEASE CORPORATION LIMITED

TRADING HALT

The securities of Lend Lease Corporation Limited (the “Company”) will be placed in preopen at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in pre-open until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Friday, 6 February 2009 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Request for Trading Halt

Lend Lease Corporation Limited requests that an immediate trading halt be granted by the Australian Securities Exchange with respect to its ordinary shares.

In accordance with Listing Rule 17.1, I advise that:

1. Lend Lease is seeking the trading halt pending the making of an announcement by Lend Lease to the market in relation to a placement of shares involving institutional and sophisticated investors.

2. Lend Lease requests the trading halt to last until such time as it makes an announcement to the market concerning the outcome of the placement but, in any event, the trading halt will not last beyond the commencement of trading on 6 February 2009.

3. Lend Lease is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
