Lendlease announces new executive appointments

Lendlease today announced the appointment of Simon Dixon as its new Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective 1 October 2021, and the appointment of Acting Group CFO, Frank Krile, as Group Chief Risk Officer.

Group Chief Financial Officer, Simon Dixon

Simon is currently CFO and board member of Hongkong Land (HKL), the US$11 billion London and Singapore listed property investment, management and development group, having held this position since 2016. HKL forms part of the US$46 billion LSE-listed Jardine Matheson Group (JAR).

A Chartered Accountant with more than 25 years of experience gained across large and diverse organisations in Australia, Europe and Asia, Simon has demonstrated finance and leadership capabilities spanning audit, accounting, investments, strategy and transformation.

Prior to Simon’s current role he held senior positions within the Jardine Matheson Group, including Group Treasurer of Jardine Matheson and Finance Director of Astra International, a large Jakarta-listed conglomerate. Simon joined Jardine Matheson in 2006 from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was a partner. He holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Flinders University, is an Associate of Australia’s Institute of Chartered Accountants, Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has completed the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.

Group Chief Risk Officer, Frank Krile

Frank Krile, who has been Acting Group CFO since November 2020, has been appointed Group Chief Risk Officer, effective 1 July 2021. Frank will also continue to hold the position of Acting Group CFO until 30 September 2021.

Frank commenced his career at Lendlease in 2005 and has held a number of senior leadership roles across the organisation including Group Deputy CFO, CFO Lendlease Australia and Global CFO Lendlease Investment Management. Prior to joining Lendlease, Frank held roles at ABN AMRO and PwC, gaining experience across professional services, investment banking and capital markets, specialising in the real estate sector. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from the Australian National University. Frank is also a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
