Lendlease Appoints David Craig to Board

Lendlease today announced the appointment of David Craig to the Board as an independent Non Executive Director, and a member of the Risk Management and Audit Committee, effective 1 March 2016.

Mr Craig is currently the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Commonwealth Bank of Australia, one of the world’s largest banks by market capitalisation.

Mr Craig is a business leader with a successful international career spanning over 35 years developed in finance, accounting, audit, risk management, strategy and mergers and acquisitions. As the Commonwealth Bank CFO, he is responsible for leading the finance, treasury, property, security, audit and investor relations teams, and liaises with a wide range of external stakeholders included equity and debt investors, regulators, government, media and customers. His previous leadership roles have included Chief Financial Officer at Australand, Global Transition Finance Leader for IBM Business Consulting Service and the Global CFO for PwC Consulting.

Mr Craig has also served as a Non Executive Director of The Australian Gas Light Company Limited (AGL) and Colonial Mutual Life Assurance Limited.

Mr Craig holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Sydney, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Australia and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He currently serves as a Non Executive Director of the Financial Executives Institute of Australia and the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute

Lendlease Chairman, David Crawford welcomed Mr Craig to the Board.

“David has worked at the highest levels of his profession both in Australia and globally, and has deep experience in the financial services industry.
