Lend Lease announces senior management change

Lend Lease today announced that Group Chief Operating Officer (COO), Scott Charlton, will be leaving Lend Lease to take up the position of Chief Executive Officer of Transurban Limited. Mr Charlton will remain in his current role until July to assist an orderly transition of his responsibilities.

Lend Lease Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Steve McCann, acknowledged Mr Charlton’s contribution to the Group over the past two years.

“I would like to thank Scott for his contribution as a member of the senior management team at Lend Lease and congratulate him on his appointment,” said Mr McCann.

“Transurban is a respected company and a valued client of Lend Lease and Scott’s skill set and experience make him an excellent choice for the role. I believe Scott’s appointment reflects well on the depth of our management team.”

Mr Charlton joined Lend Lease in March 2010. Over the past two years he has led a number of business transformation programs across the Group and successfully managed the integration of Abigroup, Baulderstone and Conneq (now called Lend Lease’s infrastructure services business).
