APEX PRESENTING AT 25 OCTOBER SHAREHOLDER MEETING

Legend Mining Limited (ASX: LEG) (“Legend”) wishes to advise that representatives of Apex Minerals NL (ASX: AXM) (“Apex”) have accepted an invitation to attend and deliver a presentation immediately after the Legend General Meeting of Shareholders to be held at the Celtic Club at 46 Ord Street, West Perth at 11.00am on 25 October 2007 .

Apex’s Executive Director, Dr Mark Bennett, will deliver the presentation and will be available to answer questions after the meeting.

Legend Shareholders will receive a distribution in specie of up to 34 million Apex shares, subject to the passing of resolutions at the meeting.

Legend Managing Director, Mr Mark Wilson, said “It’s a great opportunity for Legend Shareholders to meet senior Apex staff and become better acquainted with Apex, as collectively Legend Shareholders own some 11% of Apex stock. I encourage all shareholders who are able to attend to do so. For those who can’t attend, a copy of the Apex presentation will be available on Legend’s website”.
