RETURN OF CAPITAL COMPLETED

Legend Mining Limited (ASX: LEG) (“Legend”) is pleased to advise that the return of capital of 34 million Apex Minerals NL ordinary shares, as approved by shareholders on 25 October 2007, was completed today.

Legend is waiting to receive a response from the Australian Taxation Office (“ATO”) to its request for a tax ruling on what proportion of the return of capital will be deemed an unfranked dividend and therefore what proportion is deemed a return of capital. When the ruling is received from the ATO, Legend will advise shareholders.
