EXTENSION OF LOAN REPAYMENT DATE

Legend Mining Limited is pleased to confirm that it has reached written agreement with Yandal Investments Pty Ltd whereby the repayment date for both the principal and interest on the \$3,000,000 loan facility, previously announced on 16^th November 2005, has been extended to 31^st July 2006 from 31^st May 2006. This extension will enable the completion of capital raising activities as disclosed on 10 March 2006.
