Proposed Board Changes

Legend Mining Limited (ASX: LEG) (Legend or the Company) advises that the Chairman of the Board, Mr Michael Atkins has, after 20 years’ service on the Board of the Company, decided to retire as a director of the Company effective from the end of the Company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will be held on Friday, 5 May 2023.

Legend is pleased to advise that following Mr Atkins decision to retire as a director, the Board of the Company has elected the Company’s current Managing Director, Mr Mark Wilson as Executive Chairman of the Board effective from the end of the 2023 AGM after Mr Atkins steps down.

In addition, Legend is pleased to advise that the Board has appointed the current Executive Director, Mr Oliver Kiddie as Managing Director of the Company effective from the end of the 2023 AGM.

Legend’s Managing Director, Mr Mark Wilson said; “On behalf of shareholders and personally, I would like to sincerely thank Michael for his service as chairman of our board. His contribution as a sounding board for me, his direct assistance in several key matters and sage advice to the Board on the full gambit of regulatory and governance matters has been outstanding. The whole Legend team wishes him all the best for the future.”

Legend’s Chairman, Mr Michael Atkins said: “I have decided that, after 20 years, the conclusion of the upcoming AGM is an appropriate time to retire as chairman of Legend. I feel very confident I leave Legend with strong corporate and technical management and a strong board. I look forward to the future of Legend as a major player in the ongoing quest to find more nickel deposits in the Fraser Range.”

With the change of roles for Messrs Wilson and Kiddie, their respective remuneration as well as the terms and conditions of their employment remain unchanged. The 2022 Annual Report, released on 16 March 2023 contains details of the bios and remuneration for Messrs Wilson and Kiddie.
