RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR EFFECTIVE 30 JUNE 2007
Legend Mining Limited ("Legend") (ASX:LEG) wishes to advise that Mr Robert Perring, Technical Director, has advised Legend that he will not be seeking an extension of his employment contract which expires on 30 June 2007. Accordingly, Mr Perring will resign as a director of Legend and its wholly owned subsidiaries effective 30 June 2007.
The board of Legend would like to thank Mr Perring for his service on the board of Legend and for his excellent technical input on Legend's projects over the last 18 months. Legend wishes Mr Perring well in his future endeavours.
Legend Managing Director Mark Wilson said "Bob Perring's leadership of our technical team has been much appreciated over the past 18 months. Mr Derek Waterfield, Legend's Exploration Manager, will now assume that role with no other changes anticipated. With the recently announced Joint Venture of the Mt Gibson Project to Oxiana and the sale of the Gidgee Gold Project to Apex Minerals our current technical team is more than adequately resourced to handle the work load of our Gum Creek and Pilbara Projects."
