NEW DIRECTOR AND GENERAL MANAGER

Legend Mining Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Dermot Ryan as a Director of the Company.

Dermot is a geologist with over 28 years of experience in exploration and mine geology, and has been involved with the Creasy group of companies since June 2001.

Prior to that he was General Manager Exploration for Great Central Mines Ltd for over 5 years and was closely involved in the discovery and evaluation of the high grade Barton Deeps (Jundee) gold deposit and the Rosemont gold deposit at Duketon. He formerly worked for the CRA group of companies for 20 years, 10 of which were spent as Chief Geologist for CRA Exploration in a number of localities.

Legend Mining Limited has also appointed Andrew Law as General Manager of the Gidgee Gold Project.

Andrew is a mining engineer with some 24 years mining experience in Africa The last 18 years has been spent in Western Australia and Australia. managing various open pit and underground mining operations with companies such as Metana Minerals, Plutonic Resources, Roche Mining, Cable Sands and more recently with Placer Dome Asia Pacific at the Kalgoorlie West Open Pit Operations. Andrew is a fellow of the AusIMM and a fellow of the Australian Institute of Quarrying.
