RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR

Dermot Ryan has, on legal advice, resigned from the Board of Legend Mining pending completion of formal documentation in respect of the acquisition by Legend of Gidgee Resources Pty Ltd (scheduled for completion next week) due to a potential conflict of interest, including in respect of "related party transactions". Mr Ryan is a director of Gidgee Resources Pty Ltd, a party to this transaction, and is also the nominee to the Board by Yandal Investments Ptv Ltd.

Mr Ryan will, subject to shareholder approval of the proposed transactions, be prepared to be reappointed as a director of Legend Mining at the general meeting of shareholders to be called to approve these transactions.
