Lefroy Reinstated to Official Quotation and Appointment of Managing Director

Lefroy Exploration Limited (ASX: LEX) (“Lefroy” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that effective today that its securities have been reinstated to official quotation on the ASX.

The Company is also very pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Wade Johnson, currently the Chief Executive Officer, as Managing Director, effective today. Mr Johnson is a geologist with over 25 years of experience in the mineral exploration industry with a strong focus on gold in Western Australia. He was most recently Exploration Manager for Kalnorth Gold Mines where he oversaw the exploration and development of the company’s gold portfolio near Kalgoorlie over a period of five years. Prior to this Wade was with Newmont Australia for 10 years where he held senior exploration roles including Exploration Manager for Australia and then as Exploration Manager for Asia Pacific. During this time he was responsible for the management and execution of green-fields exploration programs and project generation across the Yilgarn of Western Australia, Tanami in the Northern Territory, North Queensland and the Lachlan Belt (NSW), PNG and the Solomon Islands. Prior to Newmont Wade held various project exploration roles in the Eastern and Murchison Goldfields of Western Australia.

The appointment of a person of Wade’s experience forms part of the Company’s core strategy to establish a new exploration team to advance evaluation of its key projects in the Yilgarn of Western Australia , due to commence very shortly.

Lefroy’s chairman Gordon Galt, on behalf of all shareholders, welcomed the return to listing and thanked those who worked diligently on the Company's transformation to a junior exploration company. "We have a great portfolio of ground already and work will start very soon on defining resources. There is plenty of gold left in WA and hopefully we will find some of that for our shareholders. These are exciting times."
