The Board of Directors of Lebtech wishes to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Lebtech Construction Sdn. Bhd. ("LCSB") had on 22 May 2026 received a Writ of Summons and Statement of Claim both dated 14 May 2026 filed by Intra Design Sdn. Bhd. ("Plaintiff") through its solicitors, Messrs Ken Chan & Co., at the Shah Alam Sessions Court bearing Suit No. BA-A52C-11-05/2026. The Plaintiff is claiming against LCSB for an alleged outstanding sum of RM117,954.27 together with interest, costs and other reliefs deemed fit by the Court, arising from interior fit-out and related works for the project known as: "Cadangan Pembangunan Sebuah Bangunan Pejabat 14 Tingkat Yang Mengandungi 11 Tingkat Pejabat (Aras Tanah, Aras 3-12), 2 Tingkat Tempat Letak Kereta (Aras Satu hingga Dua), 1 Tingkat Dewan Banquet (Aras 13) dan 1 Unit Rumah Pengawal di atas Lot PT 249646 (HSD 213961) Seluas 1.277 Ekar (55617KP) Jalan Hospital, Bandar Ipoh, Mukim Hulu Kinta, Daerah Kinta, Perak Darul Ridzuan." The claim by the Plaintiff includes, amongst others, the following reliefs: 1. Payment of the alleged outstanding amount of RM117,954.27 within fourteen (14) days from the date of judgment and/or order; 2. Interest at the rate of 5% per annum from the date of judgment until full settlement; 3. Late payment interest at the rate of 10% per annum; and 4. Costs and such further relief deemed appropriate by the Court. The Company wishes to clarify that there is a disagreement and dispute over the amount claimed by the Plaintiff and the basis of such claim. LCSB is currently seeking the necessary legal advice and intends to defend the matter accordingly. At this juncture, the Company does not expect the matter to have any material financial or operational impact on the Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2026, save for the legal costs associated with the proceedings. Further announcement(s) on any material development of the above matter will be made to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in due course. This announcement is dated 22 May 2026.
