RESIGNATION OF CHAIRMAN

Metminco Limited (“Metminco” or the “Company”) (ASX: MNC; AIM: MNC) announces that Mr Tim Read, who has held office as a Director of Metminco Limited since 1 April 2010 and as Chairman since 16 March 2011 has tendered his resignation from the Company’s Board of Directors. Mr Read’s resignation has been accepted by the Company and will be effective from 27 July 2016.

Mr Read has elected to scale back his business commitments and with that reduce his directorship roles. During his tenure Mr Read has given generously of his time and contributed significantly to the Company’s raisings where entitled to do so. The Board expresses its gratitude to Mr Read for his outstanding service as a Director and Chairman and wishes him all the best.

Dr Phillip Wing, who was appointed to the Board of Metminco on 17 July 2009, replaces Mr Read. Dr Wing is a highly experienced company director and businessman. He has been a non-executive director and chairman of a number of companies in various sectors including resources, technology and venture capital.

The Board has elected not to appoint a replacement director at this time.

Mr William Howe, Managing Director, commented: “The Board and I would like to express our sincere thanks to Tim for his contribution to the Company over the past 6 years in what has been a very challenging period for the Company. Tim’s guidance and support as a Director and Chairman of Metminco has been invaluable and will be sorely missed. We wish Tim and his wife Fiona all the best in their semi-retirement.”
