Qurius sells Multiplus Solutions to IFS

13 August 2009 – Qurius, the European provider of architecture, realisation and systems management of Microsoft technology based business and IT solutions, announces that it has reached agreement to sell its subsidiary Multiplus Solutions to IFS.

Qurius today announced that it has reached a definitive agreement with IFS to sell 100% of the shares of MultiPlus Solutions AS. The purchase price will be paid in cash.

MultiPlus Solutions is a well-established vendor of project-based business applications to the marine sector (shipbuilding, offshore) and other vertical segments. However, by deploying its own products and services and with its specific focus on the marine sector and other vertical markets Multiplus has been considered none core to the Qurius strategy.

Fred Hermans, CEO of Qurius NV: "Multiplus has a strong position in its markets. We are happy that with IFS Multiplus has the opportunity to further build on its strengths going forward. The cash compensation Qurius receives in return will enable Qurius to strengthen its balance sheet."

The transaction is expected to be completed 3 – 4 weeks after the agreement has been signed, subject to the completion of regulatory and other formalities.

Qurius verkoopt Multiplus Solutions aan IFS

13 August 2009 – Qurius, de Europese leverancier van op Microsoft-technologie gebaseerde bedrijfsoplossingen en IT-infrastructuren, deelt mee dat zij overeenstemming heeft bereikt over de verkoop van haar dochteronderneming Multiplus Solutions aan IFS.

Qurius heeft vandaag aangekondigd dat zij met IFS overeenstemming heeft bereikt over de verkoop van 100% van de aandelen in Multiplus Solutions AS. De koopprijs wordt contant betaald.

Multiplus Solutions is een gerenommeerde leverancier van projectgerichte bedrijfsapplicaties voor de maritieme sector (scheepsbouw, offshore) en andere verticale segmenten. De specifieke activiteiten van Multiplus, te weten het verkopen van eigen software producten en haar specifieke focus op de maritieme sector, dienen naar de mening van Qurius geen deel uit te maken van haar strategie.

Afhangende van voltooiing van diverse formaliteiten (waaronder van regelgevende aard), wordt de transactie naar verwachting afgerond 3 tot 4 weken nadat de overeenkomst is ondertekend.
