TRADING HALT

The securities of Syndicated Metals Limited (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Tuesday 9 August 2016 or when the announcement is released to the market.

REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT

Dear Sir/Madam

Further to our verbal advice this morning, Syndicated Metals Limited ( Company ) confirms its request for a trading halt effective immediately.

In accordance with Listing Rule 17.1 the Company advises:

• the Company is in the process of finalising arrangements for a capital raising. It is expected that the Company will make an announcement to the market in connection with the details of the capital raising which will bring to an end the trading halt;

• The trading halt is requested until the announcement is made or the commencement of normal trading on Tuesday 9 August 2016, whichever occurs earlier;

• The trading halt is expected to end following release of the announcement; and

• The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
