Recovery in activity confirmed: accelerating growth in Q3
In the third quarter of 2010, the Group achieved a turnover of €102.5 million, an increase of 7.3% (4.0 % at constant exchange rates). This performance reflects the market recovery, linked to the stepping up of aircraft manufacturers' production rates.
For the first nine months of the year, Latécoère reported a revenue of €319.5 million, down 4.4% over the same period of 2009 (-7.3% at constant exchange rates).
Confirmation of sales target for FY2010
The level of growth anticipated by the Group in Q4 2010 allows it to confirm that its target revenue for the full year is similar to the actual 2009 figure. The gradual improvement in the level of activity is expected to continue, allowing the Group to return to growth in 2011.
Order book
On September 30, 2010 and on the basis of a €/\$ exchange rate of 1.35, the order book - which includes only firm orders announced by aircraft manufacturers - comes to €2.14 billion. This represents the equivalent of four years of revenues, and demonstrates the relevance of the multi-client platform built by the Group, which is positioned in all the major, determinant programs launched for commercial, regional, and corporate aircraft in the medium and long term.
