Retirement of Chairman

LaserBond Limited (ASX:LBL) today announces that Mr Allan Morton will retire as a Director of the Company, effective 4[th] October 2017. Mr Morton has served as a Director, Chairman and member of a number of Committees for three and a half years.

Mr Morton said: ‘‘I am pleased to have been Chairman of LaserBond during a period of significant change in strategic direction and improvement in results. The Company is now well positioned to become an internationally significant surface engineering company and enjoy further growth benefits accruing from our investments strategy in collaborative research relationships and strategic partnerships’’.

The Company thanks Allan for his significant contribution and wishes him well in the future. The Board will embark on a search to find a new Non-Executive Director with the appropriate skills and experience to act as Chairman.

LaserBond’s 2017 Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday 5[th] October. The Notice of Meeting includes Resolution 4 to re-elect Mr. Allan Morton as a non-executive director. Due to his retirement, this resolution will now be void.
