Update re proposed acquisition of the Nant Distillery Business and the Nant Estate

Australian Whisky Holdings Limited ( AWY ) refers to its previous announcement dated 17 October 2016 with respect to its proposed acquisition of the Nant Distillery Business and the Nant Estate from the Nant Group.

AWY and the Nant Group entered into the Transaction Implementation Agreement on or about 13 October 2016 with the intention that the parties will satisfy various conditions for the completion of the acquisition of the Nant Distillery Business and the Nant Estate by 15 December 2016.

AWY advises that AWY and the Nant Group have agreed to extend the date for satisfaction of various conditions under the Transaction Implementation Agreement from 15 December 2016 to 31 January 2017.
