Private Placement to Fund Growth

The Board of Montec International Limited ("Montec" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the completion of a private placement of 7,700,000 new shares at \$0.50 per share raising \$3.85 million. The allotment of placement shares is subject to cleared funds. The placement has been made to a number of institutional investors, and managed by Austock Corporate Finance Limited.

The placement funds will be used to fund expansion in China initially through Beijing and Shanghai, and to progress opportunities in other countries within the Asia Pacific region.
