Appointment of Chief Financial Officer Brendan Waights

Australian Whisky Holdings is pleased to announce that Mr Brendan Waights has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer effective immediately.

Mr Waights is a KPMG trained chartered accountant with over 27 years’ experience in finance, accounting, mergers and acquisitions, risk management, capital raisings and corporate restructuring. He has diverse industry experience in construction, funds management, financial services, information technology, entertainment, hotel and mining industries. Mr Waights has been a Chief Financial Officer in both ASX listed and unlisted companies from small start-up operations to multi-billion dollar international groups, working in Australia, Asia Pacific, China, United Kingdom, Eastern Europe and the Cayman Islands.

The Board welcomes Mr Waights and the experience that he will bring to the company.
