CHANGE OF MANAGING DIRECTOR
Montec International Limited ("Montec" or the "Company") wishes to announce that Malcolm Campbell is no longer Managing Director of Montec and has no other roles as an officer or director of the Company.
Peter Herd has been appointed interim Managing Director of the Company with immediate effect. Mr Herd has been a non executive director of Montec since September 2003, and brings to the role extensive experience in the dairy sector having previously been General Manager of Dairy Farmers' Milk and Beverages Division and having held senior appointments with the Coca-Cola Company in Asia.
Mr Herd will be assisted by Dr Xueqin Du and Mr Lin Yuansheng with their considerable expertise in pursuing opportunities within the Chinese market. Mr Campbell will assist the Company with transitional arrangements and the terms of his departure continue to be discussed.
Montec will undertake a rigorous search process to identify the best possible permanent candidate for the position.
