The Company announces that David Rough, Non-executive Director has, following the completion of the Scheme of Arrangement and Merger between Xstrata plc and Glencore International plc, ceased to be a Non-executive Director of Xstrata plc on 2 May 2013.

This announcement is made in accordance with LR9.6.14 (2).
