Land Securities Group PLC confirms that the following company announcement has been made to the Irish Stock Exchange earlier today by its wholly owned subsidiary Land Securities Capital Markets PLC:

'COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENT

Land Securities Capital Markets PLC (the "Issuer")

NOTICE OF REDEMPTION

to the holders of the:

£400,000,000 Class A8 4.875 per cent. Notes due 7 November 2019

(ISIN: XS0233780609)

presently outstanding

(the "Noteholders" and the "Notes", respectively)

NOTICE is hereby given by the Issuer to the Noteholders that in accordance with Condition 8(b) of the terms and conditions of the Notes (the "Conditions"), the Issuer will redeem all of the Notes at a Redemption Amount of £1,065.53 per £1,000 in Principal Amount, together with any accrued but unpaid interest on the Note Payment Date falling on 29 March 2016.

With effect from the date of such redemption, the Notes will be delisted from the Irish Stock Exchange

All terms used in this notice and not otherwise defined shall have the meanings given to them in the Conditions.
