CEO appointment - change of start date

Land Securities Group PLC ("Landsec" or the "Company") is announcing that Mark Allan will now start as its Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") and a Director with effect from 14 April 2020 and not 1 May 2020 as previously announced on 4 February 2020.

The reason for the change is that Mr Allan's personal plans for his time between roles have been disrupted by COVID-19 and, as a consequence, he is able to bring forward his commencement date.  Mr Allan's appointment as CEO was announced on 22 November 2019, together with details of his remuneration. 

Robert Noel's intention to resign as CEO of Landsec was announced on 11 July 2019 and Mr Noel will step down as CEO and a Director of Landsec with effect from 31 March 2020.  He will remain available to the Company through to his termination date of 10 July 2020.  For the period from 1 April to 13 April 2020, Martin Greenslade will be acting CEO in addition to his role as Chief Financial Officer.
