(b) Resignation of Director

On May 10, 2018, Young Bum (YB) Koh, Ph.D., a member of the board of directors of Lam Research Corporation (the “Company”), notified the Company that he is resigning from his position with the Company effective as of the close of business on May 14, 2018. Dr. Koh’s resignation is not due to any disagreements with the Company.
