Lloyd Fonds AG: Positive preliminary Group net income for 2014
The preliminary net income for Lloyd Fonds AG for 2014 has been increased from a plan of EUR 0.7m after tax to EUR 1.2m. This result remains, however, subject to the provision that the planned transaction will take place which will see Lloyd Fonds AG offer to take over the shipping operations of eleven shipping companies within the framework of a cash capital increase. Otherwise, the annual net income result will stand at EUR 0.7m as planned.
Following on from the previous year’s net income result of EUR 1.1m, this would be the second year in a row with a positive result. In addition to the active administration of an asset base with over EUR 1.6bn in equity under management, and the resulting repetitive revenues, new structuring and placement activities form the economic foundation of Lloyd Fonds AG. The positive results of the last two years underline the fact that Lloyd Fonds AG is a sustainable business model for the future. With the planned transaction and the development of Schifffahrt AG, this business model will continue to be strengthened. If the transaction is completed in this year, all costs associated with the transaction will – as standard in such cases – not be posted in the Profit and Loss Statement, but rather recognised directly in the equity.
