Lloyd Fonds Aktiengesellschaft / Quarter Results
29.10.2009
Dissemination of an Ad hoc announcement according to § 15 WpHG, transmitted by
DGAP - a company of EquityStory AG.
The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement.
The Hamburg-based investment fund arranger Lloyd Fonds expects a series of
non-recurring strains on its earnings in the third quarter. These are
primarily due to adjustments to receivables and shares in associates and
are likely to result in a total charge on earnings of EUR 14.63 million.
These exceptionals will come to a total of EUR 17.03 million in the period
from January through September. Accordingly, Lloyd Fonds expects to post a
loss at the EBIT level of EUR 22.00 million for the first three quarters of
the year (previous year: EBIT of EUR 5.61 million). This translates into
post-tax loss of EUR 24.18 million for the first nine months of 2009
(previous year: net profit of EUR 3.80 million). Sales came to EUR 13.21
million in the first three quarters (previous year: EUR 45.48 million) due
to low placement figures in the first three quarters.
