Hamburg, December 23, 2011. Lloyd Fonds AG has successfully completed its
equity issue. The transaction entails the issue of 14.7 million new shares
at a subscription price of EUR 1.00 each. Following the entry of the equity
issue in the companies register, which is expected in the first week of
January, Lloyd Fonds' share capital will increase from EUR 12.7 million to
EUR 27.4 million.

Lloyd Fonds will be receiving gross proceeds of around EUR 14.7 million
from the issue of the new shares. As a result of the equity issue, ACP Fund
V LLC, which is managed by US company AMA Capital Partners LLC, will hold
49.9 percent of Lloyd Fonds AG's capital.

The new shares are expected to be admitted to trading on the stock exchange
at the end of the 2nd quarter of 2012.
