Appointment of Mr Philip Moffitt to Board of Platinum Asset Management Limited

The Board is pleased to advise that Mr Philip Moffitt will join the Board as an independent nonexecutive director, effective 17 December 2021.

Mr Moffitt brings extensive local and international asset management experience to the Board. He is one of the Founders of Beckon Capital, an investment management firm which delivers capital to economically sustainable impact enterprises.

Mr Moffitt is currently a member of the Board of Aware Super Pty Ltd, also Chairing its Investment Committee and sitting on its Direct Assets Committee. He is also Chairman of the Foundation at Newington College.

Mr Moffitt was previously a Partner at Goldman Sachs Asset Management (London and Sydney) and also Chairman of Goldman Sachs Australia Managed Fund Board. He has also held a number of senior roles within Tokai Asia in Hong Kong and Bankers Trust Australia.
