Platinum Asset Management Limited Appointment of Company Secretary

Platinum Asset Management Limited (ASX: PTM) wishes to advise shareholders that Ms Joanne Jefferies has been appointed as Company Secretary with effect 17 October 2016. Ms Jefferies joins PTM from BNP Paribas Securities Services, where she held the positions of Regional Head of Legal for Asia Pacific and Company Secretary. Ms Jefferies has over 20 years of legal experience with expertise in fund management, financial services regulation and corporate governance. Ms Jefferies holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

As a consequence of Ms Jefferies appointment, Mr Andrew Stannard has relinquished his role as interim company secretary with effect from the same date.
