Platinum Asset Management Limited (ASX: PTM) announces Board and management changes
As foreshadowed in a previous advice to the market, Mr Philip Howard has resigned as an Executive Finance Director, Chief Financial Officer and as Company Secretary of Platinum Asset Management (“PTM”) effective from 25 May 2015.
New Executive Finance Director to be appointed
PTM announces that Mr Andrew Stannard will join the Board as an Executive Finance Director effective from 10 August 2015.
Mr Stannard joins PTM from AllianceBernstein where he held the position of Chief Financial Officer for the Asia-Pacific region. Mr Stannard has 25 years of finance experience with expertise in audit, financial control, operations, funds management, financial services regulation and corporate governance . Mr Stannard holds a Bachelor of Management Studies (Honours) in accounting and financial economics, and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment. He is a Chartered Accountant.
Mark Aggarwal will act as interim Chief Financial Officer from 25 May 2015 until Mr Stannard’s appointment on 10 August 2015.
Management Changes
The position of Company Secretary will be taken by Ms Janna Vynokur effective 25 May 2015. Ms Vynokur joins PTM from Allens Linklaters, where she held the position of Managing Associate. Ms Vynokur has 14 years of legal experience with expertise in funds management, financial services regulation and corporate governance . Ms Vynokur holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws degree.
