Changes in Kreate Group's Management Team

The infrastructure construction company Kreate strengthens its Management Team in order to support its competitiveness as well as to enable development in line with the company strategy in the future.
Sami Laakso, Vice President, Transport Infrastructure Construction, moves to the position of Chief Operating Officer as of 1 August 2024 and continues to serve as a member of Kreate Group's Management Team. Mr Laakso is tasked with ensuring process efficiency, project performance and the Group's development according to its strategic goals.
– Extensive, large-scale projects that involve various types of construction will become more common in the future. In addition to ensuring strong technical competence and smooth collaboration, we want to be able to identify even better significant, complex projects that provide business opportunities. Sami's extensive experience in leading people, working on large projects and managing them successfully provides a good start for the development of our operations, explains Kreate Group's President & CEO Timo Vikström.
MSc Technology Juha Schönberg (b. 1981), who previously worked as Senior Construction Manager in Transport Infrastructure Construction, has been appointed as Vice President, Transport Infrastructure Construction and a member of Kreate Group's Management Team as of 1 August 2024. Mr Schönberg has strong infrastructure construction experience particularly with large industrial projects and broad road and street construction projects. Schönberg has worked at Kreate Group since 2018.
– Juha has successfully led many large projects, and he was responsible for expanding Kreate's business in Northern Finland. He is an active and goal-oriented leader who has had a significant role in terms of our company's growth in recent years. I am glad that our effective successor planning enables us to provide our employees with opportunities for professional development and career advancement inside the company, Mr Vikström says.
Juha Schönberg will gradually take on Mr Laakso's duties by 1 August 2024.
